Cam profile Gasket consist of a metal core serrated on both sides, generally made from stainless steel. Is covered with a soft conforming sealing material that is bonded to each face, where depending on the material performance will be made from PTFE or graphite. The result is a gasket which combines the benefits of soft materials with the advantages of seal integrity associated with metallic gaskets. Use of cam-profile gasket in heat exchanger applications will ensure a reliable seal, from initial hydro test through difficult operating conditions.
